I kinda hoped to give my very first critique to artwork of less quality, but oh well, this really caught my eye.

Lets put it all in the order of those little stars on the right, shall we?
Vision: for starters, I have to say this really caught my eye. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was gonna end up in my journal. The overall design = eye candy. It's really shiny, modern and suits dA's current skin perfectly. The speech bubble with the deviant's icon and username is a really nice touch, kinda gives it a somewhat formal feel. Plus, the shadow on the header makes it look, like it's popping out of the screen, 3D even - good work.. Though there is a slight flaw: once you select to put the "mood, playing, drinking, watching etc." section at the top, the first line is blocked by the speech bubble.

Originality: I found it to be very gorgeous, shiny and all. Fella and his laptop look great, but I wouldn't say its super original. The idea of someone sitting on top the journal's header typing isn't the very first. But seeing as how the overall design was made, it's suitable.

Technique: Well, I don't think there's much to say here. I see soft colors, gradient, fading out. It's all good for this CSS.

Impact: It certainly made me feel more hi-tech after updating my journal. This design is absolutely marvelous and if it were in my power, I'd make this one an official dA journal skin, since the current one is really plain and quite frankly, ugly (but don't tell anyone, unless it's the admins and they actually plan to do something about it).
